Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Biased
Aberdeenshire | Mon–Fri | Days/Backs + weekend oncall

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of electrical equipment and machinery.

• Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce downtime.

• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems.

• Supporting projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement activity.

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, SVQ, Apprenticeship).

• Strong electrical bias with sound mechanical awareness.

• Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
